My Favorite Kids Ministry Resources

Like most people in Kids Ministry, I am always looking for the best resources. When I find a good resource, I make sure to tell everyone about it. A feature of Kids Ministry with Ryan will be regularly reviewing and promoting different resources that I think will help others on this journey.

Christianbook

Foundations for Kids

These two books have been a great resource for kids in the ministry I oversee. Foundations for Kids is a 260-day reading plan for kids. This book has kids reading passages of scripture that every follower of Jesus should know. It also uses the H.E.A.R Journal method to help kids start the practice of journaling. I encourage the parents in my ministry to get a copy of Foundations 260 for their kids. There are adult books or the entire family can read the kids plan. It is a great family ministry reading plan.

Explorer Bible for Kids

This Bible is currently my most recommended Bible for kids. I have purchased this bible for my son, and he loves to read it. This bible has QR codes with links to bible videos that align with the Explore the Bible Curriculum. This is a CSB bible (Christian Standard Bible). My eight-year-old son loves to read the bible and loves to watch the videos that help explain the bible story.
